Holiday Party Game – Present Challenge
Age: 4+
Need:
- Mittens, oven mitts or heavy socks
- Wrapping paper
- Boxes
- Tissue paper
- Paper
- Scissors
Players:
Preparation: Start by cutting out stars (or whatever shape you’d like) from your paper. The stars should be around 1 inch in size. Take your first star and wrap it up in tissue paper and put it inside one of your boxes and then wrap the box up. If you want to make the game a little more challenging, add ribbon, extra tape or more layers of wrapping paper paper. Wrap up enough boxes so at least every two guests will have one.
How to Play: Divide your players into teams of two and hand each team a box and two pairs of mittens. You could also use oven mitts (which is a little harder) or heavy socks. (If you have enough presents for everyone, you don’t need teams) Each team will need to open their present as fast as they can, while wearing their mittens. Then they will need to find their star inside the box and bring it to you. The first team to bring you the star wins.
